MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

 

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Burglary

A woman reported Oct. 25 that a flatscreen television had been stolen from her Brookins Circle home.

 

Theft by Taking

A Playstation 3 was reported stolen Oct. 26 after a man took the console to a residence for recreational use.

 

Financial Identity Fraud

It was reported Oct. 25 that a financial aid loan had been falsely taken out in a local woman’s name.

 

Terroristic Threats

A local credit union reported Oct. 23 that a customer called and threatened a representative on the phone.

 

Driving While License Suspended

After officers initiated a traffic stop Oct. 23 they discovered that the driver of a vehicle was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested and transported to the Baldwin County Jail and charged with driving while license suspended.

 

Aggravated Assault

An individual reported Oct. 22 that while eating soup prepared by another party he found a full size razor blade in the meal.

 

Criminal Trespass

The Baldwin County Water Authority reported that a privacy fence around a water pump site had been damaged Oct. 22 without any individual contacting the Authority.

 

Criminal Trespass

A woman living on Irwinton Road reported Oct. 22 that she thought someone was trying to break into her home. Officers found that he sliding glass door had been pull out and was hanging by one screw.
