MILLEDGEVILLE — Burglary

Officers were dispatched to Fall Line Pawn shop on North Columbia Street at approximately 2:33 a.m. Sept. 16 in reference to an audible alarm. Upon arrival officers observed the front glass door, which had been completely shattered. The business owner was immediately contacted and arrived on scene, along with detectives. Upon checking inventory, the owner did not find anything missing from the store. Video surveillance revealed a subject wearing a Halloween mask entering the business and attempting to take rifles and shotguns.

Burglary

Officers were dispatched to an Anthony Way apartment Sept. 15 in regards to a burglary. The complainant stated that her son noticed that the back window of the apartment had been broken and that the window locks were unlocked. A Smith and Wesson Sigma .40-caliber semi-automatic and a .45-caliber revolver were reported missing from the residence.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of her wallet sometime during the month of August. She left her wallet on a table at the Golden Corral restaurant. When she returned the next day to search for it, it was gone. The wallet contained her driver’s licenses and bank cards.

Theft by Taking

Officers were dispatched to a West McIntosh Street address Sept. 12 in reference to the theft of a bike. The complainant stated that when he went to go get his Diamondback Mountain Bike for training, he discovered that it was gone.
