Deputies were dispatched to a South Edwards Street residence around 3:30 a.m. Sept. 9 in reference to loud music. Upon arrival, officers observed a large crowd drinking alcohol outside the residence and loud music coming from inside. They also observed piles of beer cans on the ground. The owner of the residence was given ample opportunity to disburse the crowd and lower the volume of the music, but he didn't comply. He was arrested for disorderly house.
Deputies were dispatched to a Corral Road address in response to a report of a burglary and theft occurring sometime between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15. The complainant stated that during the time of his hospitalization someone entered his home and stole miscellaneous guns and tools. In addition to the guns and tools, he also discovered that $50 worth of silver dollars, eight $2 bills, and $2 worth of one-dollar silver certificates were stolen from his gun safe.
Theft by Taking
A woman at a Tanya Drive residence reported the theft of her prescription pills sometime during Sept. 11. She stated that upon returning home from work she discovered several of her prescription pills had been stolen from a dresser drawer in her bedroom. Approximately thirty seven 500 mg Loritabs, 12 to 14 of her son's 10 mg Ritalin, and an unknown number of 500 mg of Naproxen was reported missing from the residence.
Driving While License Suspended
While patrolling the area of Ga. Highway 29 Sept. 11 a deputy observed a vehicle traveling at 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Upon initiating a traffic stop, dispatch advised the officer that the driver's license was suspended for failure to appear in court.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the area of Ebony Lounge Road Sept. 12 in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. Upon arrival the officer met with the complainant who stated that when he returned from work he discovered that someone stole two televisions, a laptop computer, an iPad and an Android tablet from his home.
