MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Nuisance Animal


A dog was turned over to animal control Nov. 21 after a child was bitten on Thomas Street while the dog was off its leash.

Burglary

A Quails Ridge Court resident reported Nov. 20 that his home had been entered and the back door pried open. A safe containing cash, his son's birth certificate and baby pictures, passports, vehicle titles and wedding pictures was stolen.

Theft by Shoplifting

A North Jefferson Street store reported Nov. 21 that a male had been seen on security footage stealing an unknown amount of merchandise.

Theft by Shoplifting

A North Jefferson Street store reported Nov. 21 that a male had been seen on security footage stealing three beers by hiding them in his clothing.

Damage to Property

A woman reported Nov. 21 that the hood of her vehicle had been scratched while parked on Ellise Street.

Forgery

A bank turned over a counterfeit $5 bill Nov. 18.

Forgery

A bank turned over a counterfeit $10 bill Nov. 18.

Fraud

A man reported Nov. 19 that an ex-girlfriend had opened an account with a phone provider in his name without his consent.
