A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the area of Nelson Road NW Aug. 24 in response to a burglary. The complainant stated that upon arrival to her home, she found her side door had been broken and one air conditioner was missing from the kitchen window.


Deputies were dispatched to a Shady Rest Court residence at approximately 5:19 p.m. Aug. 26 in reference to a burglary in progress. The victim stated that she was asleep on the couch in the living room when she heard someone attempting to break into the back door of the residence. She began banging on the inside wall to let the subject know the home was not empty, but the offender continued to pry open the door. Once inside, she started yelling at the offender, who then ran from the residence.

Criminal Damage to Property

An officer was dispatched to an Oconee Street residence Aug. 25 in reference to criminal damage to property. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated that while traveling in the area, a man threw a full bottle of beer, striking the rear passenger’s side quarter panel of the vehicle.

Criminal Damage to Property

Officers were dispatched to Taco Bell on North Columbia Street Aug. 25 in reference to damage to property. A restaurant employee stated that when she went outside on her break, she noticed slash marks in her rear driver’s side tire. The slash mark caused a low leak to the tire that was damaged.
