MILLEDGEVILLE — Officers were dispatched to a West Andrews St. address at approximately 8:31 p.m. Aug. 21 in reference to an entering auto call. The owner of the vehicle told the officers that she noticed a suspicious man leaning against her car possibly tying his shoe. When she checked on her car she discovered that a pack of cigarettes was missing from the vehicle.

Criminal damage to property

A woman at a North Columbia St. apartment reported damage to her mailbox Aug. 22. According to the woman, an unknown person broke into the mailboxes at the apartment complex. She discovered two pieces of mail ripped up inside of her mailbox.

Criminal damage to property

Officers met with the owner of a U-Haul leasing location on North Wayne St. Aug. 22 in reference to damage to his property. The man stated that when a woman returned one of his U-Haul trucks, she caused damage to the fence while entering the driveway as well damage to the side of the truck. The officers noticed scrub markings on the side of the truck near the bottom of the fence.
