MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department

Financial Transaction Card Theft

A man reported March 18 that someone had fraudulently spent $1,400 on his credit card at a local business.


A West Greene Street apartment owner reported March 18 that someone entered his home and stole two game systems belonging to his roommate. Another individual living in the house reported a missing jar of cash.

Theft by Taking

An Underwood Road resident reported March 18 that a female pitbull had been stolen from his yard.

Vicious Dog

A woman reported March 18 that while parked on East Montgomery Street a loose dog bit her on her thigh and attempted to bite her again.


After a man avoided a license check March 19 he was pulled over. It was found that he had had an active warrant for cocaine possession and when officers retraced the man’s route they located cocaine on the side of the road. He was arrested, served with his warrant and also charged with possession of cocaine.
