MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Damage to Property
An individual reported Feb. 27 that someone struck his vehicle and damaged it while it was parked at a location.
Theft by Taking
A car dealership owner reported Feb. 26 that someone stole a vehicle from his car lot.
An Irwinton Road resident reported that a GPS system an a pistol were stolen from his vehicle Feb. 27.
A man reported March 1 that unknown items and a riding lawnmower were stolen from his deceased father’s Gordon Highway property.
An Allen Drive resident reported Feb. 28 that someone entered her home and stole a 28-inch television.
A Pebble Hill Road resident reported Feb. 28 that someone stole a medallion and a pistol from his vehicle.
Theft by Taking
A Linton Road property owner reported March 1 that several items were stolen from their property including tools and building materials.
Underage Possession of Alcohol
A vehicle was pulled over March 2 after an officer observed the driver drink from a beer can. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and underage possession of alcohol. One passenger was cited for underage possession of alcohol and an open container of alcohol. A second passenger was cited for underage possession of alcohol. The third passenger was cited for underage possession and transported by EMS to Oconee Regional due to a high alcohol level.
A Harrisburg Road club bouncer turned over a firearm to the police Feb. 23 after he located the weapon on a customer’s person during a pat down at the club.
