MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department
A store clerk at a North Columbia Street convenience store reported a man attempted to pay for purchases with a counterfeit $20 bill. The man attempted to try another $20 bill, and it was a counterfeit as well. The bills were confiscated by the store clerk.
— Financial Identity Fraud
A man reported that his nephew had opened a Verizon Wireless phone account with his financial information without permission around Sept. 29.
— Theft by Taking
A woman reported her power tools and a tool box was stolen from her Union Hill Church Road residence around 6:35 p.m. Sept. 29.

A woman reported eight solar yard lights had been taken from her Myrick Road residence at an unknown time.
A woman reported a break-in at her Lawrence Road home Sept. 26 around 12:15 a.m. Numerous pieces of costume jewelry and an unknown number of silver half dollar coins were reported stolen.
— Entering Auto
A woman reported that someone went into her car and her husband’s truck and took an unknown amount of cash and a baseball bat at her Horace Veal Road residence sometime after 7 p.m. Sept. 27.
A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop for weaving around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 29. He was also cited with failure to maintain lane.

— Criminal Damage to Property
A man at a West Walton Street home reported damage to his residence by a male Sept. 27 around 4:27 p.m. Nine windows inside the residence were broken out.
