MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department

— Possession of Marijuana

On Sept. 21, an officer assisted a trooper with a vehicle stop on North Irwin Street. A passenger was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The passenger had 19 individual bags of marijuana on his person.

From Sept. 11 to 21, a man from the United Kingdom contacted several local realtors in reference to purchasing area properties. They found it odd the man wanted to purchase properties he has never seen. He demanded a purchase order on the properties and is asking for the company’s banking account and routing information. An alert was placed on the man’s business account.

— Criminal Damage to Property

Someone shot through the front glass window at a Lata Terrance address between the night of Sept. 24 and next morning. A hole in the glass appeared to come from a small caliber weapon.
