MILLEDGEVILLE — Fraud-Financial Identity

A man reported that unauthorized transactions were made on his bank account from April 24 to June 4. When he received his bank statement he noticed a total of $1,326.47 worth of unauthorized charges made to an Apple iTunes account with his BB&T bank card.

Theft by Taking

A man at a Lair Road address reported the theft of a utility trailer June 3. At approximately 11 a.m. the man discovered that his 1996 Outdoor Trailer was stolen from his lake house. He informed officers that the last time he remembered seeing the trailer in the yard was Memorial Day.


Deputies were dispatched to a Shady Rest Court address June 3 in reference to a burglary. According to the owner, when she returned to her residence at approximately 7 p.m. she noticed that her electronics were missing from the home. A 42-inch Sanyo flat screen television was missing from the living room and a 32-inch Vizio flat screen television was missing from her son’s bedroom. A neighbor later informed her that they had observed two males climbing out of her son’s bedroom window and leaving the area in a white van.

Fraud-Financial Identity

A woman reported that an unknown person has used her personal information to open at least 11 accounts with different financial institutions. Her bank contacted her June 4 to inform her that bank statements for her account were being delivered to an address in Bellwood, Ill.   


A couple at a Lockwood Street residence reported a break-in at their home June 4. They left the residence around 12:30 p.m. and returned at approximately 3:24 p.m., discovering that the side door had been ripped off the frame. Upon entering the residence, they noticed the bedrooms had been ransacked and several items had been taken.
