A man at a Laura Court apartment reported damage to his vehicle around 1:20 a.m. Aug. 12. The man stated that when he went outside to check on his vehicle he noticed the passenger side door was hanging down. He tried lifting the door and it came off of the vehicle. No items were reported missing from the car.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Wal-Mart loss prevention employee reported the theft of merchandise from the store by a female Aug. 11. She observed the female conceal several items in her purse and attempt to leave the last point of sale without paying for them.


Officers were dispatched to a North Richmond St. residence Aug. 10 in reference to a burglary. The owner of the property stated that he left the residence at approximately 8:15 p.m. Aug. 8. When he returned two days later he noticed his front porch window had been damaged. A Xbox 360 gaming console, a 48 inch television, and a HP laptop were reported missing.


Officers were dispatched to a West Montgomery St. apartment Aug. 11 in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival they met with the complainant who stated that an unknown person took approximately 200 Oxycodone pills from his home. After returning from dialysis, the man went to take his pain medication, but discovered that the bottle that was just filled only contained 15 pills.

Criminal Damage to Property

A man at a Magnolia Ave. address reported damage to his vehicle sometime between Aug. 7 and Aug. 9. When the complainant returned to his residence after being out of town, he discovered scratches on the driver and passenger side from the front quarter panel to the rear quarter panel. The reporting officer also observed several scratches on the trunk of the vehicle.
