MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by Shoplifting

An employee at a South Wayne Street store reported the theft of merchandise by a man May 15. The man took an unknown amount of candy and shirts from the store and left without paying for them.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of $88.88 worth of merchandise by a female around 1:13 p.m. May 15. The woman was stopped by personnel before leaving the store. She was issued an appearance ticket for shoplifting.

Criminal Damage to Property

Officers were dispatched to a North Liberty Street residence May 9 in reference to a call of criminal damage to property by a man. According to the man, a guest was at his house and became upset about money that was owed to him. He broke a chair in front of the house and was told to leave by the owner. A few minutes after their argument, the man was seen ducking down behind the man’s truck. The following morning, the man discovered that his tire was slashed.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of a 12-pack of Bud Light by a man May 9. The man took the pack of beer and concealed it under his jacket. He was stopped before leaving the store.
