MILLEDGEVILLE — Criminal Trespass

A woman at an Ivey Drive residence reported that a couple was trespassing on her property after she refused to give them refuge during a storm on the night of March 18. The woman stated that an unknown car pulled into her driveway around 12:57 a.m. An unknown female knocked on the door and asked if she and the man could come inside out of the storm. The woman refused their request. The next day the same couple drove by her residence at approximately 12:30 a.m. and stopped in front of her home.    

Fraud-Financial Identity

A man at a Ellis Street address reported that he received a courtesy call from an AT&T representative March 20 in regards to an outstanding balance of $1,000 on his account. The man informed the representative that he didn't have an account with AT&T. He was told that someone used his social security number to open a phone account in his name.

Disorderly Conduct

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Lockwood Street March 25 in reference to a call of a large group of juveniles fighting. Three juveniles were engaged in a physical altercation in the backyard of an Azalea Circle address.   

Aggravated Assault

A man reported that another male shot him in his leg after he refused to give him a cigarette and a dollar around 12:35 a.m. March 23 at a West Franklin Street apartment. The unknown man approached the victim in the parking lot of the apartment complex and asked for a cigarette. The man said he did not have one. He then asked for a dollar and the man said he did not have a dollar to spare. After he did not receive either items, the man pulled out a gun and shot the man in his leg and ran behind the building.  

Cruelty to Animals

Deputies were dispatched to a Gerrell Drive address in reference to a report of cruelty to an animal. A man informed deputies that his neighbor shot his pitbull March 24 when it ran out into the road.
