MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
On July 2 deputies were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Hardwood Drive in reference to a burglary. According to the victim, after returning from work around 5:30 p.m., she discovered that someone kicked in the rear door of her residence, breaking the door frame. It appeared as if the suspect had rummaged through the entire house. A small black portable radio and several pieces of costume jewelry were reported missing from the residence.
An Irwinton Road daycare center reported a burglary occurring sometime before July 3. The employee informed the deputy that upon coming to work the morning of July 3, she noticed that there was visible damage to the rear door leading to the playground and the lights were on in the kitchen and pantry area. Approximately $100 worth of items was reported stolen from the daycare. She also told the deputy that on June 11, she discovered about $300 worth of snacks and juices missing from the center, but did not report the incident.
