MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Criminal Damage to Property
A deputy was dispatched to Moore Street residence in regards to damage to a vehicle. According to the victim, she left her black 2004 Ford Mustang at a relative's house for safe keeping June 20 while she went on vacation. When she returned to pick it up she noticed scratches along the outside of the vehicle. The deputy noted in the report that he observed damage throughout the vehicle that appeared to have been made with a sharp object.
June 24 a woman reported missing items taken from her vehicle while parked at a North Columbia Street grocery store. She told the deputy that she went to the store June 21 around 1:30 p.m. When she came out of the store, she noticed that an unknown person had taken several items from inside her silver 2001 Chevrolet C15. A bag containing various articles of clothing, a prescription bottle of Zofran and a prescription bottle of Percocet were reported missing from the vehicle.

Theft by Taking
Police were dispatched to a South Liberty Street address June 24 in regards to stolen furniture. Upon arrival they were told by the victim that someone stole an outdoor metal chair off of his porch. He was told by his neighbor that the chair was seen on the porch of a home in the 200 block of S. Liberty St. on June 20.
