MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department
A woman at a Pritchard Street address reported April 22 two burglary attempts occurring at her home within the past two weeks. In the first incident, the woman told officers that she discovered someone broke one of her front window frames in the window of the home. No items were taken during the first attempt. During the second burglary incident, the window frame was found on the front porch. A blue and black laptop running Windows 8 was reported missing from the residence.
A man reported that someone broke into his vehicle April 22 while it was parked in the 500 block of W. Franklin Street. He told the officer he left his 2004 Honda parked overnight in a parking space. When he returned to the car the following morning, he discovered that the right front passenger’s side window had been broken out. No items were reported missing from the vehicle.
On April 22 officers reported to a North Pickens Street residence in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Once at the home, police noticed the window screen on the far left side of the home had been pulled loose. The owner of the residence said when she heard someone at the window she looked out and saw the shadow of a person. Police searched the area and did not find any suspicious persons.
