MILLEDGEVILLE — n Entering Auto

Deputies were dispatched to a Kitchens Road address June 12 in reference to an entering auto case. The complainant stated that he discovered his handgun was missing from the console in his van. He reported to the officers that he may have accidentally left the doors of the vehicle unlocked during the night. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle.

n Burglary

A man reported a break-in at his Vinson Highway home between June 6 and June 12. He told deputies when he returned from an out of town trip he discovered that someone broke into the residence through a widow located on the right side of the home and stole several items. Black powder rifles, a desktop computer system, a set of clothing items, two metal canteens, ammo pouches, black powder with pouches, a Confederate war tent, a Sylvania DVD surround sound system, and an Xbox gaming system with two wireless remote controls were reported missing from the residence.

n Criminal Trespass

Deputies were dispatched to Georgetown Village Apartments on Highway 49 at approximately 6:37 p.m. June 11 in reference to a possible gunshot into a residence. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the two females that resided at the apartment. They stated that someone shot a bullet through the kitchen window while one of the females was inside the residence. Upon checking the scene, deputies observed a small hole in the window, which appeared to be from a BB gun or air rifle.

n Burglary

A man at an Ogden Road residence reported a break-in at his home sometime between June 10 and June 12. He stated that the last time he was on his property was June 10 around 9:30 p.m. When he returned to the home he noticed that someone had entered the property and stole three window air conditioning units.

n Entering Auto

A woman reported that an unknown person went inside her vehicle while it was parked at the Bodyplex parking lot on North Columbia Street June 11. She told officers that she left her car in the gym parking lot between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. When she returned she discovered that someone had taken her wallet.

n Entering Auto

A man reported the theft of a handgun, cash and a radio from his vehicle June 12. He stated that he left his vehicle unlocked the previous night and discovered that his 9mm high point gun, $60 in cash, and one of two hand held radios was missing.
