Criminal Damage to Property

A woman at a Highview Road address reported damage to the windows of her home by an unknown person sometime before 6 a.m. June 8. According to the woman, when she stepped outside her home the morning of June 8 she noticed three windows on the front of the house had been shot. After observing the damage, deputies believe that the damage was made by a BB gun.

Theft by Shoplifting

Deputies were dispatched to a North Columbia Street grocery store June 10 in reference to shoplifting. A store employee said that two females attempted to pay for $294 worth of groceries with a check, but the check would not go through. They were instructed to sit on the bench until the matter could be straightened out. The man went to attend to other customers. When he returned the females were gone.

Nuisance Animal

Deputies were dispatched to a Badger Road address June 10 in reference to a neighbor complaining about dogs in their yard. The complainant told deputies that his neighbor’s dogs are constantly running through his yard and they are always in an argument about it. He said he reminded his neighbor about the leash laws but that only made the argument escalate. The neighbor complained that he was yelling because when his daughters ran into the yard chasing the dog, the man stepped outside and began cursing at them.
