MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department

Accidental Injury

Officers assisted individuals March 27 after a man attempted to climb a fence and slipped, causing a decorative spike to impale his leg. The man was transported to ORMC for treatment.

Criminal Trespass

After driving into a pole at a North Jefferson Street gas station a man drove away before police arrived at the scene March 27. Several people had to assist in separating the car from the pole and the property was bent with paint from the vehicle on it.

Fraudulent Prescriptions

A North Cobb Street pharmacy reported March 27 that an individual had been providing false prescriptions for Loratab since September 2013.

Burglary

Residents of Matheson Road reported March 27 that their home had been entered through a damaged rear window. A handgun was missing from a safe in the house along with approximately $780 cash.

Theft by Shoplifting

A North Columbia Street business reported March 27 that an associate attempted to chase down a woman who had shoplifted but were unsuccessful.

Theft by Shoplifting

A North Columbia Street business reported March 27 that a male shoplifted merchandise before running out of the store and then into the woods.
