Milledgeville Police Department
A man was arrested April 3 after officers initiated a traffic stop because of an improper lane change. The individual smelled of alcohol at the time of contact and failed field sobriety tests. Officers located marijuana in his possession while patting him down after he was handcuffed. He was charged with driving while under the influence, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and cited for improper lane change.
A Highland Avenue resident reported April 3 that during the night someone scratched a word into her vehicle’s driver side.
A man reported April 3 that another person threatened to come to his job and attack him.
Theft by Shoplifting
A South Wayne Street business employee reported April 4 that she saw a man leave the store with a bar of soap without paying for it.
