MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Milledgeville Police Department

— Theft by Taking

A woman reported her prescription medicine had been taken from her Allen Memorial Drive home by another female around 4:55 p.m. Sept. 29.

— Entering Auto

A woman reported that someone went through her vehicle as it was parked at a South Wayne Street address and took money and checks around 9:20 a.m. Sept. 28.

— Shoplifting

A North Columbia Street shoe store employee reported that a woman put two pair of shoes in her purse and left without paying for them around 4 p.m. Sept. 28.

— Burglary

A woman reported a break-in at her Black Springs Road address and the theft of her clothes sometime before 7 p.m. Sept. 29.


A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

— Burglary

A woman reported a break-in at a North Jefferson Street apartment and damage to the door frame sometime before 9 a.m. Sept. 28.
