A woman at a Frank Bone Road apartment reported the theft of her 32-inch flat screen TV sometime between May 25 and June 18. The woman left her apartment for the summer and recently returned to check on it. A letter from the apartment manager’s office was posted on the door, dated May 28. There were no signs of forced entry, but the woman observed that her 32-inch Dynex led flat screen television was missing from the home. Maintenance and management said they did not enter the home while she was gone. The woman’s friend who also had a key to the residence denied being in the apartment since she left.


An employee of Belles and Whistles on Effingham Road reported a break-in at the business June 18. When the man entered the business he observed the east side window open and the television sitting sideways. A five gallon paint bucket, 15 assorted pocketbooks, four pairs of white Nikes, 15 assorted colored and sized polo shirts, 30 assorted professional ball team hats, and 30 assorted pairs of other shoes were reported missing from the establishment.

Criminal Trespass

Deputies were dispatched to an Irwinton Road convenience store at approximately 9:55 p.m. June 18 in reference to a man trespassing on the property. Upon arrival officers made contact with the store clerk who stated that the man repeatedly came to the store property and attempted to solicit customers to buy him a beer. The store clerk provided a store surveillance tape that showed the man walking up to cars in the parking lot.

Prescription Drug Fraud

Deputies were dispatched to a Fieldstone Drive medical center June 20 in reference to a complaint of prescription drug fraud. The complainant stated that one of the patients at the medical center has been going to multiple doctors and getting several prescriptions filled and is selling the medication. She observed that the patient has gone to five different doctors and has gotten the prescription filled at different pharmacies in the Dublin area.

Entering Auto

On June 19 at approximately 10:36 a.m. deputies were dispatched to Green Acres Nursing Home in reference to entering auto. The complainant stated that she saw three males on bicycles ride up to her car and take her purse.
