MILLEDGEVILLE — Criminal Trespass

An officer was dispatched to a McDonald’s on South Wayne Street Sept. 4 in reference to a man harassing customers and refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the manager who stated that a man who had been trespassed from the premises at a previous date was harassing customers as they entered the building and refused to leave.

Theft by Shoplifting

A store manager at a South Wayne Street department store reported the theft of merchandise by a male Sept. 3. The manager observed the man standing in one section of the store for an extended period of time. When questioned by the manager on if she could help him find something, he proceeded to call her a derogatory name. Afterwards, he dumped a shelf of deodorant bottles into a book bag he was carrying and ran out of the store.  

Burglary

Officers were dispatched to a Grandview Dr. apartment at approximately 10:41 p.m. Sept. 5 in regards to a burglary. The complainant informed the officers that when she came home, she noticed that her bedroom dresser had been turned over. Upon arrival to the residence, officers discovered a large plastic object on the back side of the apartment that appeared to have been used to break the bedroom window. No items were reported missing.
