MILLEDGEVILLE — Forgery

A bank reported Oct. 18 that it had come into possession of six counterfeit $100. Those bills have since been forwarded to the FBI.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Oct. 18 that a man took her cellphone when he was removed from her home by police.

Burglary

A resident of Harris Street reported Oct. 18 that her 50 inch plasma TV had been stolen from her home.

Theft by Shoplifting

Two females and a male were given trespass orders after attempting to steal $43.84 worth of clothing from Walmart Oct. 18.

Criminal Trespass

An individual living on Sherry Circle reported that her home had been vandalized with defamatory language in black marker Oct. 18.

Disorderly Conduct

A woman reported Oct. 18 that she was attacked by another woman while at the residence of her boyfriend.

Aggravated Assault

Officers responded to a fight in progress on Fraley Avenue Oct. 18. One individual was arrested and charged with aggravated assault for cutting the throat of another woman with an unknown object and beginning the altercation.

Bringing Marijuana Past Guard Line

A woman visiting an inmate at Riverbend Correctional Facility Oct. 19 was searched after officers smelled marijuana on her person. She was in possession of 14 bags of marijuana, 11 bags of tobacco, rolling papers and two empty bags that previously held contraband. She was charged with bringing marijuana past the guard line of the Riverbend Correctional Facility, brining marijuana past the guard line of the Milledgeville Police Department and bringing tobacco past the guard line of the Riverbend Correctional Facility.

Theft by Shoplifting

An individual attempted to shoplift $657.17 worth of merchandise from Walmart. She was charged with theft by shoplifting and transported to the Milledgeville Police Department.

Forgery

Employees of a business on North Columbia Street reported that three males attempted to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill Oct. 19.

Criminal Trespass

A resident of River Ridge Road reported Oct. 19 that someone removed the screen from her kitchen window.
