MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by Taking

Deputies were dispatched to a Ga. Highway 24 East location Aug. 26 in reference to a stolen lawn mower. The complainant said that her Snapper 700 series push mower was missing from underneath her garage.  

Driving While License Suspended

While patrolling the area of Ga. Highway 24 East Aug. 27, a deputy noticed wrecker vehicle traveling east at 75 mph in a posted 55 mph construction zone. Upon initiating a traffic stop, the deputy discovered through dispatch that the man’s driver’s license was suspended for child support obligations.

Simple Battery

A woman reported being struck in the face by another female at a Richard Drive residence Aug. 25. She stated that upon going to the location to pick up her child, the other woman entered the room and struck her in the face. The victim also told the deputy that the woman began yelling insults at her as soon as she arrived at the residence, but when she attempted to ignore her, she resorted to hitting her.

Entering Auto

A man reported the theft of his gun from his vehicle sometime between Aug. 28 and Aug. 30. He stated that he left the gun in the glove compartment of his car while it was parked at a North Main St. location. When he returned to the vehicle he discovered that the .380 pistol was missing.
