MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by taking

A man reported the theft of one of his Porta Johns from the area of Old Monticello Road March 30. The man stated that the morning of March 29, his crew placed the Porta John at the intersection of Watson and Old Monticello Road. The next morning the Porta John had been moved to the side of the road. Later that afternoon, the Porta John was missing.



Theft by taking

The owner of a Vinson Highway property reported the theft of  two cast iron tubs filled with scrap metal  around 6 p.m. March 30.  The man stated that the tubs were located outside the home just on the edge of the property.



 Entering auto

A man reported that an unknown person broke into his vehicle while it was parked at a South Jefferson Street apartment complex March 29. The rear passenger side window was broken and profanity was written all over the vehicle. No items were reported missing.



Burglary

Deputies were dispatched to a Collins Road address in reference to a burglary and theft March 31. The owner of the residence stated that when he arrived home he noticed his bedroom window had been tampered with.  An A TV was reported missing, and deputies found an open pocket knife on the bed and screws from the TV wall mount on the floor.
