MILLEDGEVILLE — Criminal Trespass

The property manager of a North Pickens Street apartment complex reported July 24 seeing an unwanted man in front of the laundry room urinating. Upon arrival, officers found the man riding a bicycle on the property. He received a citation for criminal trespass. A few minutes later, a resident reported seeing the man enter the apartment building from the back. An arrest warrant for criminal trespass was issued to the man.

Theft by Taking

Officers were dispatched to a North Wayne Street residence July 24 in reference to a suspicious male at the location. Upon arrival, the officers questioned the man about his reasons for being at the residence. He told officers that he was there cleaning up. The officers contacted the homeowner whose contact info was listed on a for rent sign. Upon arrival the homeowner noticed a significant amount of copper was missing from the house.

Driving While Unlicensed

On July 16 at approximately 4 p.m. an officer noticed a vehicle traveling west on Dunlap Road at an accelerated speed. Upon attempting to initiate a traffic stop, the driver turned onto Reeves Circle and ran from the vehicle. A female inside the car gave the officer the driver’s name. Dispatch informed the officer that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was located at relative’s apartment on Karen Circle.
