Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
July 18 at approximately 3:15 p.m. deputies were dispatched to Hollingshed Avenue in reference to entering auto. Upon arrival they made contact with the complainant who stated that between July 14 and July 18, someone broke into the driver’s side window of her vehicle and broke the bottom of the steering wheel. No items were reported missing from the car.
At approximately 7:17 a.m. July 20, deputies responded to a call of an unknown person entering a beauty salon on Wright Drive Road. The owner said when he arrived at the business he noticed the front metal door to the salon had been partially pried open. No items were reported missing from the business.

Theft by Taking
A woman reported the theft of her mower from a West Mitchell Street address at approximately 10:43 a.m. July 19. She stated that someone had gone into the crawl space of her residence and stolen her push lawnmower.
Officers were dispatched to a West Greene Street address July 21 in reference to a criminal trespass call. The complainant stated that an unknown man came into her residence. Her roommate was lying down taking a nap when the man walked into the residence and placed his hand on her back. The complainant said she escorted the man out of the house and called 911.
Obstruction of Officers
Officers were dispatched to a restaurant parking lot on North Columbia Street July 20 in reference to a man panhandling. Upon arrival, they observed a man fitting the description given to dispatch harassing customers. Officers asked the man for ID but he continued to walk away from them in the parking lot, yelling obscenities. When he finally agreed to show the police officers his wallet, he continued to curse at them, questioning why they were bothering him. As the officers began the process of detaining him, the man began to fight with them.
