MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. Milledgeville Police Department

Entering Auto

A vehicle was reported as entered Feb. 10 while parked at a business on South Elbert Street and a radio and speaker were stolen.


An individual reported that an unknown person had taken out fraudulent student loans in his name.

Terroristic Threats

A man approached three individuals Feb. 11 and began threatening them after they declined his help with changing a tire. He was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and three counts of terroristic threats.

Theft by Shoplifting

An individual was arrested for theft by shoplifting Feb. 10 after he was seen on camera taking items without paying for them from a North Columbia Street business.


A fraudulent credit card purchase was reported Feb. 10 after an individual was contacted by a businesses fraud department.

Theft by Taking

A Baldwin County school system teacher reported Feb. 11 that someone had stolen her purse and its contents from her desk drawer. A student and her mother contacted the teacher after the student found the wallet on a school bus.
