The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Entering Auto

A man reported the theft of a handgun from his vehicle around 3:05 p.m. March 25. The man parked his car on South Wayne Street and walked to a nearby convenience store. When he returned, he noticed that the firearm was missing from the console. 

Criminal Damage to Property

A man reported damage to his vehicle by his ex-girlfriend on March 25. The woman came to the victim’s residence to confront him about his new girlfriend. After an argument ensued, the female picked up a brick and threw it at his vehicle. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A convenience store employee reported the theft of three cartons of Newport cigarettes by a man and woman at approximately 2:50 p.m. March 25. While the female asked the clerk a question, the man came around the counter and grabbed the cigarettes.
