MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

A business owner reported March 21 that one of his rental trucks was taken and never returned as the lease detailed.

Terroristic Threats

A man reported March 21 that he and a friend received death threats by phone by someone they both know.

Financial Transaction Fraud

A woman reported March 22 that $1,029.51 worth of merchandise had been charged to her debit card in Savannah. She said knew the individual who had done so but presently declined to press charges.


A friend of a North Columbia Street resident reported March 21 that when he arrived for a short stay he noticed the entire house had been ransacked.


A North Wilkinson Street business owner reported that the business was broken into March 22. Holes had been cut into the ceiling of two suites and one of the doors unlocked. An employee reported that $11,929 in cash was stolen from inside coin lottery machines that were damaged.
