MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department
A West Hancock Street resident reported March 19 that someone was outside his apartment looking at his cable box.
An individual was detained March 20 after he was approached by police and denied being the name by which he was addressed. Officers verified his identity with a photo and then attempted to arrest him. He tried to pull away and at one point tried to run. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, obstruction of an officer, two counts, and giving a false name.
A North Lincoln Street apartment resident reported March 20 that someone kicked in and damaged his front door and burned holes in his carpet.
A man reported March 20 that someone followed him from the bank ATM he had used and when he was home two people attacked him and stole cash from him.
Officers responded to Oconee Regional Medical Center March 20 after a combative patient was reported. When officers were speaking with the patient she struck out at them and they attempted to restrain her. She continued to struggle and also attacked a civilian hospital employee. Warrants were taken in her name for simple battery on a police officer, felony obstruction, simple battery and battery.
