MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by Taking

A man at a Bradford Road address reported the theft of sporting equipment from his home May 11. The man told officers that a Billiard Meucci pool stick was missing from his residence.

Theft by Shoplifting

Officers were dispatched to a South Wilkinson Street convenience store in reference to a theft by a man around 1:20 p.m. May 12. The man walked into the store and placed several snack items in his pocket and exited without paying.

Theft by Taking

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Caraker and South Jefferson streets at approximately 2:35 a.m. May 11 in reference to the theft of money. The complainant told officers that he and his friend had been drinking all day at another friend’s residence. When the man woke up, he discovered that $20 was missing from his pocket.

Attempted Burglary

Officers were dispatched to a Cottonwood Drive address in reference to an attempted burglary. At approximately 9:25 p.m. May 11, the owner of the residence was sitting in the living room when she heard someone pulling on the back patio door. Her alarm went off and she proceeded to call 911.

Entering Auto

A man reported the theft of his cell phones from his vehicle May 11 while it was parked at a North Columbia Street store. The man returned to the car after shopping and found that his cell phones were missing from the front passenger’s seat where he left them. The doors to the vehicle were left unlocked.
