MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Damage to Property

An homeowner of Lakeshore Circle reported Jan. 3 that her seawall was damaged by another person's boat.

Terroristic Threats

An individual was issued a trespass notice Jan. 4 from his ex-wife’s residence after he made a comment regarding child support enforcement and the use of a .38-caliber revolver as retaliation.

Theft by Taking

A man reported Jan. 3 that a tool box containing specialized tools was taken from the Big Lots Shopping Center parking lot where he had placed the box while gathering his equipment.

Entering Auto

A car owner reported Jan. 3 that she believed her car key been stolen. She reported that she went out to her vehicle and saw a man hiding in the bushes near her house and when she spoke to him he fled on foot. When she got into her vehicle she was unable to locate the keys where they are normally kept.

Criminal Trespass

A man was trespassed from a residence Jan. 4 after he harassed the homeowner and then broke her cellphone for speaking with another individual.



Milledgeville Police Department

Possession

During a vehicle safety check point an individual was pulled aside Dec. 30 due to an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. He was given a field sobriety test and his vehicle was searched. He was found to be in possession of marijuana less than one ounce, methamphetamines, a Schedule 4 controlled substance and a firearm. He was arrested and charged for possession of the preceding items and also charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
