MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

A husband and wife reported Dec. 20 that several of their pills had been stolen, including 12 Tramadol and 90 Furosemide.

Entering Auto

A woman reported Dec. 21 that someone had stolen the handicap decal from inside her vehicle while it was parked at a North Columbia Street business.

Theft by Taking

On Dec. 21 a woman reported that her cell phone was stolen while she was at a business on North Columbia Street.

Giving a False Name

A woman was arrested Dec. 21 after an officer initiated a traffic stop because of the driver’s suspicious behavior at an intersection. While speaking with the individual the officer asked her name and date of birth. After she was informed that lying could result in more charges she revealed her true name and date of birth. Dispatch operators informed the officer that the woman had a warrant in her name and she was taken into custody.

Theft by Taking

An individual reported that his vehicle was stolen from his residence on West Charlton Street Dec. 21.

Entering Auto

A man reported Dec. 22 that several items had been stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on North Wilkinson Street.
