MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.
Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
A resident of Grimes Road reported Nov. 15 that several items had been stolen from his home, including linens, home furnishings, tools, fishing poles and tackle.
Theft by Taking
A resident of Highway 49 West reported Nov. 16 that a four-wheeler was stolen from his property.
A resident of Mt. Pleasant Church Road reported Nov. 16 that two laptops and a tablet were stolen from his home.
A property owner on Ebony Lounge Road reported Nov. 15 that someone had entered her property and stolen several home furnishings, including a refrigerator, a stove and a portable heater.
A burglary was reported Nov. 20 at a residence on Old Stage Road. Pry marks were found on the front door of the property and the following was missing: change, a handgun and video games.
A woman reported Nov. 21 that someone was falsely using her mother’s identity to make purchases.
A man reported Nov. 23 that several items were stolen from his parent’s Ivey Drive residence: a pressure washer, a chop saw, a circular saw, an air compressor, an antique bicycle and a child’s bicycle.
