MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Criminal Trespass

At approximately 8:45 a.m. Nov. 29 two males were seen trespassing on a vacant Junior Hill Road property. The owner of the property noticed the men walking toward the back of the lot around 8 a.m. When he returned to check on it they were still there.


A female reported a break-in at her North Columbia Street apartment and the theft of stereo equipment and computer speakers around 4:22 p.m. Nov. 26.


Nov. 30 an officer responded to an anonymous report of a vehicle being stopped in the road around the area of Stembridge Road and Pebble Hill Road. Upon arrival the officer noticed a bottle of vodka sitting in the front passenger’s seat and the driver asleep on the steering wheel and wearing no pants.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported that someone took her prescription medication from a shopping cart at a North Columbia Street pharmacy Nov. 26. The female had her prescription of Percocet filled and left it in the cart while looking for another item on the aisle. When she returned she found the pills were missing.


Officers responded to an alarm at an Ellis Street address around 11:31 p.m. Dec. 2. Upon arrival officers noticed that the back door had been forced open and the external screen door had been cut in order to open the latch. No items were reported missing.
