MILLEDGEVILLE — Driving Under the Influence

While patrolling Colony Farm Road June 15 a deputy observed a vehicle run a stop sign. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Ga. Highway 243 just north of Ga. 29. While speaking with the driver, the deputy noticed his eyes were bloodshot and his speech was slurred. The officer also observed an open bottle of beer between the driver’s seat and console.

Computer Invasion

A man reported a computer invasion of privacy by an ex-employee ever since she left the company April 4. On June 14 the man discovered that the woman has been accessing his computer network without permission. He provided the sheriff’s office with a five-page document with recorded the dates and times that the woman has entered the network.

Public Nuisance Animal

Deputies were dispatched to a Stembridge Road address June 16 in reference to a public nuisance animal complaint. A woman stated that her neighbor’s dogs are constantly coming onto her property and she has filed multiple reports with the sheriff’s office. She said the dogs circle her and act aggressively toward her.

Theft by Taking

A woman at a Bonner Drive address reported the theft of her mail from two addresses for approximately a year. The woman stated that someone has been stealing her mail from both her Bonner Drive residence and a home she has on Harrisburg Road.

Criminal Damage to Property

Deputies were dispatched to a McKinley Street address around 3:15 a.m. June 15 in reference to a woman breaking a window. The owner of the residence told officers that she was awakened by a loud knock on her door sometime between 2 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. She did not know the woman who was knocking. The woman then broke out a window in the home and was yelling out the name of a man who was also at the residence. The man said the sound of the window breaking woke him up and he believed that the female came to the residence to instigate a fight with him.
