The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Jan. 13 that while picking up a take-out order at a restaurant on North Columbia Street her wallet was taken from where she placed it on a counter.

Public Drunkenness

An individual was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct Jan. 13 after it was reported that he attempted to kick in someone's door after an altercation.

Entering Auto

A car owner reported Jan. 10 that her back driver’s side window was broken and that $25 in cash was stolen from inside the vehicle while it was parked on Sherry Circle.

Theft by Taking

It was reported Jan. 10 by a man's roommate that a bag full of silver currency was stolen from his nightstand.

Theft by Taking

A man reported Jan. 11 that several items were stolen from his bedroom and food items belonging to him were taken from the kitchen of his home.

Entering Auto

A vehicle owner reported that her car was entered while it was parked on East Charlton Street Jan. 11. A phone was taken from the car.

Theft by Shoplifting

A woman was arrested Jan. 11 after attempting to take $53.37 worth of merchandise from a business. She was cited with shoplifting.


A resident of Laura Court reported Jan. 11 that her home was entered. She found a bedroom window pushed in and an attic door open. Nothing was reported missing.
