MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
On June 30 a man reported to the sheriff's office the theft of a firearm from his vehicle. He told the deputy that around 5:30 a.m. he went to his black 1991 Nissan pickup truck parked at a Blacksprings Road address to leave and discovered that his Ruger semi-automatic pistol and gun holster were missing.
Theft by Taking
Deputies were dispatched to a Ga. Highway 49 address July 1 in reference to the theft of children's bicycles from the home. The victim informed deputies that three Mongoose brand children's bicycles were taken from her residence sometime between June 29 and June 30. The woman also told the deputies that the bicycles are always kept outside her house under the carport.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Ebony Lounge Road July 1 in response to a burglary. Upon arriving, the deputy noticed the side door of the residence had been forced open. After checking the rest of the home, the deputy escorted the homeowners through the residence to see if they noticed anything missing. A Seiko brand 32-inch flatscreen TV and a 22-inch flatscreen TV were reported missing.
