The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.
Milledgeville Police Department
On July 30 an officer was dispatched to Oconee Regional Medical Center in reference to a call for assistance. Upon arrival, the officer met with hospital personnel who stated that they had a patient in one of the rooms who was being hostile. When EMS personnel attempted to speak with her, she slapped him across the left side of his face with her right hand. The EMS personnel and the officer attempted to restrain the woman on the floor. While trying to get her in handcuffs, she attempted to bite, kick, scratch, and spit on personnel assisting the officer.
A man reported the theft of his handgun from a vehicle July 29 while it was parked at a Northridge Road apartment parking lot. He informed the reporting officer that his handgun, along with a loaded magazine, was stolen from his girlfriend’s vehicle. The gun was stored in the glove compartment of the car and was last seen July 26 around 12:30 p.m.
A delivery man reported that someone broke into his delivery truck July 30. He informed the reporting officer that he parked his truck at a Barrow’s Ferry Road address. When he returned he noticed that the passenger’s side window had been knocked out and his merchandise was gone.
