MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Burglary

A man at a Pebble Hill Road address reported a burglary occurring sometime on April 18. He told the deputy he left his residence around 8 a.m. and returned to find someone had broken into his home and taken medication and cash from his bedroom. Trazadone and Viagra medication along with approximately $50 in change were reported missing.

Driving While Unlicensed

While patrolling in the area of North Jefferson Street April 20 a deputy observed a blue Toyota Camry traveling with a headlight out. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was asked for her driver's license and insurance card. She informed the deputy that she did not have either forms of identification. She was issued a citation for driving while unlicensed, and the car was turned over to the registered owner.

Fraud-Impersonation

A woman reported receiving a phone call from her credit card company April 17 in regards to credit card fraud. She told police that someone tried to open credit card accounts in her name with wrong information.

Theft by Shoplifting

Police were called to a South Wayne Street department store April 17 in reference to a shoplifting incident. A store employee informed the officer that a man wearing blue jeans and a gray zip up hoodie was seen taking three packs of T-shirts from the store. When confronting the man about the concealed items, he walked quickly out the door and into the parking lot.
