MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
A burglary was reported taking place at a Hardwick Street rental property at approximately 5:30 p.m. April 3. The owner of the rental property said he noticed that a washer and dryer set was missing from the residence. He found one window open at the home as well. No other items were reported missing.
March 28, deputies responded to a call of an attempted burglary occurring sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. March 27 at a real estate office on North Columbia Street. Deputies observed that the office was in disarray. Office equipment was thrown around the area, dirt from potted plants was on the floor and fire extinguisher powder sprayed everywhere. The owner of the business was contacted and after a thorough search told deputies no items appeared to be missing.
