MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Driving Under the Influence

An individual was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and underage possession of alcohol March 1. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the individual after he was reportedly following two individuals who were passengers in a cab.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported March 1 that her phone was stolen while she was at a downtown restaurant.

Theft by Shoplifting

A business reported March 1 that an individual had a replacement tire placed on his vehicle but drove off before paying for the product.


A West Thomas Court resident reported that someone stole $360 out of his home March 1.

Theft by Shoplifting

A North Columbia Street business reported March 1 that two individuals attempted to steal electronic merchandise by removing it from its containers.

Driving While License Suspended

An individual was arrested March 1 and charged with driving while under the influence, driving while license suspended and following too closely after officers received a call about someone driving while under the influence.
