The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Shoplifting


A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of a pair of shoes by two men around 1:25 p.m. June 4. The two men were seen on camera taking a pair of black and white shoes valued at $16, concealing them, and attempting to leave the store without paying.  

Burglary

Officers were dispatched to a Grandview Drive apartment June 3 in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant who informed them that her 32-inch flat screen television was missing from her apartment.

n Entering Auto

A man reported the theft of his pistol from his vehicle while it was parked at an Oconee Street address June 3. When he went to his car to retrieve something out of the vehicle, he noticed that his handgun was missing from the cubbyhole on the driver’s side door.

Burglary

A woman at a North Jefferson Street address reported a break-in at her home and the theft of her wallet June 3. At approximately 1 a.m., after returning home, the woman noticed the door to her apartment was open. She also found a part of the door lock lying on the floor as if someone had forced the door open. Upon inspection, she discovered her wallet with her Bank of America debit card was missing.

Burglary

A woman reported a break-in at her North Jefferson Street apartment at approximately 2:36 a.m. June 1. A Canon digital camera and a presidential service award were reported missing.
