The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.
Milledgeville Police Department
A man was arrested Jan. 11 after his identity was confirmed during a conversation with a police officer. The man had warrants in his name from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. He was found to be in possession of marijuana less than one ounce when searched.
Three individuals were arrested Jan. 12 after one man was seen urinating on a sidewalk. While officers were speaking with him another man approached and asked why the first individual was being arrested. The second individual was identified as being underage and being in possession of alcohol. A third individual approached while the others were being arrested and refused to leave the scene. The first individual was arrested for public drunkenness, the second individual was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and the third was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Two individuals were trespassed from a business Jan. 12 after an incident regarding timesheets.
Criminal Damage to Property
A car owner reported Jan. 12 that the paint on her vehicle was damaged and scratched.
Officers responded to a call Jan. 12 in regards to a fight on Holley Drive. Due to conflicting testimony no one was arrested, but each individual involved was advised of their rights to press charges.
Theft by Shoplifting
An individual was trespassed from a business after attempting to steal $13.71 worth of merchandise Jan. 12.
A business' alarm went off Jan. 13 in reaction to a break in. No intruders were found on the scene.
