MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
A woman reported the theft of a firearm from her vehicle while it was parked at a Woods Drive address. According to the victim, on June 17, she discovered that someone had taken her 9mm Ruger pistol from under the seat of her car. She said the last time she saw the weapon in the vehicle was around May 27.
A deputy was dispatched to a Pancras Road address June 18 in reference to a man trespassing on the property. The victim told the deputy that his wife informed him that she saw a man coming down the driveway around 3:36 a.m. When he walked out of the house to check, he observed a man crouching beside his vehicle holding on to the door handle. The unwanted man was still at the residence when the deputy arrived and was charged with criminal trespass.

Theft by Shoplifting
On June 21 police responded to a call from a South Wayne convenience store in regards to a theft. Upon arrival they spoke with the store clerk who said a man came into the store and filled a 20-ounce drink cup full of soft drink then left without paying. He added that the man was seen heading toward Irwinton Road.
