MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department

Entering Auto

A woman reported Dec. 18 that several items had been stolen from her vehicle after someone smashed open a passenger’s side window with a rock.

Entering Auto

A business owner on North Glynn Street reported Dec. 18 that someone had stolen a handgun from his vehicle while it was parked at his business.

Theft by Taking

Memory Hill Cemetery reported Dec. 18 that a grave marker had been stolen from the premises.


An individual who took out a loan from a local bank reported Dec. 18 that a debt from a fraudulent account taken in her name was still appearing on her credit report.

Entering Auto

A man reported Dec. 18 that someone had entered his vehicle and stolen a GPS unit while it was parked at a North Columbia Street business.

Criminal Damage to Property

A car owner reported Dec. 18 that while her vehicle was parked at a North Columbia Street business, someone scratched the hood, doors, roof and trunk.

Driving Away Without Paying for Gas

A gas station attendant reported Dec. 20 that an individual driving a minivan had driven off after pumping $37.20 worth of gasoline.
