The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Shoplifting

An employee of a North Columbia Street department store reported the theft of a two pairs of socks, a hat, a pair of gloves, and a box of tampons by two females around 4:08 p.m. Dec. 27. The items were concealed in the females' purses.   

Damage to Property

A man parked at a South Wayne Street store reported that another vehicle dented his car by opening the passenger's side door Dec. 26. He noticed the damage when returning to his car at approximately 6:33 p.m.  

Criminal Damage to Property

A man reported that someone broke a window at his Harrington Drive home around 1 a.m. Dec. 27. Officers recovered a hammer from the grass near the window.
